At last, a new font for programmers

A lot of us don't care. A lot of us care maybe a bit too much but coming across a nice new monospaced font does make writing code more fun. I think I have been using Consolas since far longer than I care to remember. Consolas was released in 2007 and I haven't seen any other interesting fonts for programmers released by Microsoft since.
Recently I came across FiraCode and OfficeCode Pro both of which look beautiful. Fira supports ligatures which is great. Microsoft released Cascadia Code, a monospaced font supporting ligatures on the 18th of Sep - let's see how they stack up.
